Dang. I haven't had a moment to spare lately, and am dreadfully behind in posting. I finally fixed the photos from the casting, courtesy of the generosity of Monk, who is hosting them on his server. Kozmo also sent me some photos of the plaster cast and they turned out great. The detail is amazing! Let's see if I can put these up without being kicked off Image Venue:

Last week:
My friend, April, didn't make it to the party on Saturday. She called me with lame excuses about sinuses and approaching menstrual cycles. I almost expected her to regale me with woes about stubbed toes and split ends. I was disappointed because I had plans for her after having one of my rope top friends tie her up. Oh well. I'll try again next time. Or perhaps I'll look around for a cute someone who's already in the scene. As soon as I find some spare time, that is.
I had to miss the Bondage is the Point party on Sunday, sadly. A friend was in town from NY for the weekend and he extended his short trip for the sole purpose of fitting in time with me. It was unfortunate that it coincided with the party because I didn't feel comfortable taking him along. It worked out well, anyway. He's an incredibly amusing companion and we share a passion for food. We had a lovely dinner out, discussed restaurants to our hearts' desire, and then closed down the Zig Zag. It wasn't suspension bondage, but it was a pleasant evening. And...I ended up telling him about my rope proclivities. He was fascinated, had a lot of questions and we had a lively conversation about bondage, much to my delight. I have occasionally alarmed folks when talking about my, uh, hobbies.
All in all, it was a great week. I squeezed in time with most of my favorite people, helped a friend move stuff to her new studio, had a lot of playtime with Griffin, and am now off to get ready for a road trip with my sweetie. I'll try to post while I'm away, but no promises. We'll be back late Wednesday night. Thursday is date day with Lee, and that night is the first night of SEAF. So, at the latest, I'll post next Friday. Hopefully, I'll have some good stories to share.
